I also want to let you know about a wonderful resource for your church, small group, or other ministry called The Ripple Effect. This series is designed to not only explore the realities of Christian persecution but also to call individuals and churches to action on behalf of those suffering for their faith. It is a call to create your own personal ripple effect of influence.

There are many resources available at The Ripple Effect website. There is a Launch Kit for a 6-week study that is ideal for small groups. There are free downloadable discussion guides, coloring pages, and a student journal. For a nominal fee you can order a coloring book, a dvd, or posters to advertise your event. You can make a difference. You can bring awareness to your church, your community, your family. But it starts with you. Be the pebble that breaks the surface of the water and creates a ripple effect of change.
